Exactly as he describes, although I didnt find much difficulty in removing the harness' in tact with a full vehicle as in engine and interior intact. I would though as Zvil mentions remove the harness and install an undamaged one. Just something about piece of mind in having done it right , but I'm OCD when it comes to Zs or restoration of any kind.
